Das Steinhaus is a quaint little free-standing cottage situated on a working farm, in the heart of the fynbos area just outside the town of Napier. Napier is situated under the Soetmuisberg, surrounded by rolling wheat and barley fields, at the southernmost region of Africa.
The cottage consists of two twin beds and an en-suite bathroom, separate from the main house. Activities include hiking trails, leisurely walks, mountain biking and bird watching.
The road to Napier takes you through never-ending fields of wheat and barley, where the endangered blue crane can often be seen gathered together in large flocks. Napier is known as a village with old-world charm and century-old cottages blended with modern houses, resulting in a delightful rural atmosphere.
