17 Eden Wilds is a self-catering apartment in Port Edward.

The apartment has two bedrooms. A sleeper couch is located in the lounge which sleeps one adult or two children. This unit can comfortably sleep five adults maximum or four adults and two small children. The resort has a strictly enforced policy of only allowing a maximum of six people per unit; including children. DStv Easy View Bouquet is available; no SuperSport channels, please bring your own decoder. The unit has a new modern fitted kitchen with all the necessary appliances including a front-loading washing machine.

Nearby attractions include the Umtamvuna River; which is a water sport playground, the Beaver Creek Coffee shop, and the Wild Coast Sun and Wild Waves Water Park.

Natural beauty by

The total stay was amazing, from the accommodation which was amazing to the beautiful gardens, the swimming pool area and the fishing so close buy. A true gem in the middle of nature. A true peaceful and relaxing holiday and also very child friendly. I will definitely be back

The calm atmosphere by

The TV did not work as the signal /cable was not connected. So we had no TV for the weekend. The roads were in a bad state.

Everything! by

We loved how clean and homely the place felt! My 2 kiddies were very comfortable and we were very impressed with the water pressure! Ha ha

The people at reception need to be more friendly. They should smile.

Unpleasant welcome by

We left Durban at 6pm and upon our arrival at Eden Wilds at 8pm on a Friday evening, the security was unaware of our booking so he radioed to reception. Mr. Kobus was in the office at the time, he refused to see or listen to us even after we had told him we held the proof of the confirmation of booking. I had to call and message the owner Mr. Kevin Harris to confirm with Mr. Kobus so we can get entry. After receiving entry Mr. Kobus was unapologetic. My husband and I were hugely disappointed in our welcome. We had an average overall stay at Eden Wilds. Perfectly designed unit with nice comfortable spots to relax but it should receive more care in cleanliness before guests arrive. Our unit catered to entertainment for example, puzzles for kids, adult boardgames, CDs and DVDs. Pool area was clean and tidy however the jungle gym outside for the kids was very messy.
