Only a short distance away is Knysna Forest, and the sweeping sands of Plettenberg Bay, sailing and deep sea fishing, bungee jumping, parasailing, hiking or riding the endless forest trails, mountain passes and ostrich farms, Cango Caves a very well-known attraction in Oudtshoorn, or even perhaps Calitzdorp for well-known Boplaas Award Winning Wine and Port. If it is variety you're after, Oubaai is your perfect base.

Herolds Bay itself is a mere 3km out of Oubaai, nestled in a magnificent and sheltered rocky cove where the golden beach sands meet the frothy, turquoise waters of the ocean.

Unit nice and suited our needs.
1) Security system very inefficient, had to wait & waste too much time being checked in every time we go in. Suggest a system that allows resident access for the duration of the guests stay.
2) Had to pay visitors rate to play at oubaai - surely residents on the estate should qualify for better rate?
Twice the cost of George, a much better rated course! Oubaai course not good value for money.
