THE BOAT HOUSE, 53 Nkwazi drive.

Enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the lagoon and the Indian Ocean, OR pour your sun-downers with your braai on the covered patio whilst admiring the same views.

This lovely cottage, right on the water is as close to the lagoon as you are going to get. Situated at the very front of the property, edging the water, it is suitable for 1 family of 6. ?The Boat house? and ?The Flat? at 53 Nkwazi Drive are on the same property and share a pool. The Boat house offers direct lagoon and beach access. Whilst you cannot launch a boat off the property, you can moor in front of the property during the day, when the lagoon is full enough. To get onto the lagoon, you will launch at the communal launch site of which the access is situated near the village entrance. The property does not offer garages, but does have secure open parking. The property is secured by fencing, gates and beams with armed response. All linen is provided please bring your own towels and beach towels. The Boat house is serviced daily (no full time maid), there is no additional charge for the service, however, this does not include laundry. Laundry for longer stays can be negotiate with staff onsite at an additional charge. All rooms have ceiling fans.
There is a gas braai built-in on veranda, we suggest you bring a Webber for braai-ing around the pool if you so wish. The large veranda at the front of The Boat house as well as the side veranda had splendid views and is furnished.
The beautiful pool has undercover space with furniture, but no net. DSTV: please bring your own card and decoder, please note the dish is not PVR/Explorer compatible. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathroom.The Boat house contains the following: Upstairs: Open plan lounge/dining room/Kitchen, exiting onto a large front and additional side veranda. Kitchen: microwave, stove, fridge/freezer, all cutlery and crockery. 2 Bedrooms and 1 split bathroom upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms have 1 double bed in the first room and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. the upstairs bathroom is set up so that the shower, bath with basin and toilet can be used separate from one another. Downstairs there is a large bedroom which is independent from the main cottage, it has its own entrance and houses a double bed and en-suite bathroom which has a toilet, basin and bath. Should you wish to take a boat onto the lagoon, please arrange lagoon access at the ski-boat club on the beach as per their mandate, normal skippers rules apply to the use of boats, water ski's or Jet Ski's. To launch into the ocean you will use the main beach launch site, there is the only ocean launch site available, arrange with Ski-boat club, however note the driveway to this property is very steep and not suitable to take a boat down. Small children much be watched at all times around the edge of the lagoon and open pool.

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS:Out of season: 2 nights.Mid-season: 2 ? 5 nights.In-season: 5 to 7 nights. Peak season: A minimum of 14 nights during the peak time if you include Christmas and New Year. Alternatively: 10 nights leaving on the 27/12 OR 10 nights starting/arriving on the 28th or 29/12. Lesser stays before and after this period (minimum of 7 nights) will be considered once the primary booking is in place and confirmed.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Admin fee: once off. Breakage deposit: 10% of the value of the accommodation charge, with a minimum of R2000, refundable if there are no breakages.
