The security and parking are very good. Overall a lovely placce to stay. Fantastic views ruined by broken furniture by Bianca Parsons 25 June 2018 We stayed at 605 Witsand from 17 - 20 June 2018. Even though the apartment is clean and have stunning views, there was a few things that ruined our stay.
There are 2 single beds in the 1 room, the leg on the one bed was broken and my husband had to sleep in the living room, which resulted in him not being able to sleep because of the outside lights shining through the door and windows.
There are 2 toilets and the one did not work. There are also 2 recliner chairs and the one was broken, as well as one of the small coffee tables was also broken. There was no dustbin in the kitchen and only 2 teaspoons.
Even though I let the owner knw about the bed, toilet and chair and being told that someone will be send out to fix these problems, nothing was done in the time we were there. So these few things really did ruin our holiday, not being able to sleep next to your husband on holiday is not ideal.
The views are fantastic and would recommend the apartment, but just know that you have to take your own pillows as the they only supply 2 paper thin pillows and not enough blankets for the Cape Town winters.
I wasn't going to write a review had the owner gotten back to me when I advised on the first day about the problems , but the only response I got was that someone will come and fix the bed, no one ever came and the owner just ignored all my messages. 605 WITSAND LAGE
