Therese - you are super - so accommodating - you went out of your way to make our stay comfortable and all the finer details were very much appreciated (like the fresh posies next to our beds etc). The accommodation was clean and neat and the rooms beautifully decorated. the views were spectacular.. Therese was a fabulous host - she ensured our stay was as perfect as it could have been and her attention to details was not unnoticed. We stayed in the Upper Deck and found this room extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. The views from the balcony were a delight - we saw whales in the morning. Our breakfast was delicious and served in the sunshine on our balcony - it was the best breakfast of our holiday! We would stay here again without hesitation - the location is spot on with lots to do and see, there are lovely seafood restaurants a short drive away. Lots of beautiful details in the breakfast room near the pool and also in the room. Moreover, fresh flowers everywhere! The breakfast was rich and delicious. The owner was really a friend. I had always just driven through Simons Town in the past. It is a sleepy hollow but in the same token we literally felt like we where a couple who disembarked our boat house to enjoy the quiet little town.
The views from our balcony of the barber were so inviting to go and explore the town. Knowing we were in an easy walking distance from our "boat"
The whole venue was perfectly decorated and very authentic. So any sailor or yacht enthusiast you will love it.
Staff and owner were just as brilliant.
Only downfall was we only "docked" in SimonsTown for the one evening.
But recommend anyone or couple to enjoy the
