Acorns Rest is a modern cottage offering accommodation to four guests along the Garden Route, George. The cottage welcomes guests with a feel of home.
The cottage is a spacious 70 square meters and is entirely separate from the main house as to mind the privacy of the guests. Guests share a driveway with the owners but have their own parking area with a remote.
There are two bedrooms. The main bedroom can accommodate a King size bed or two single beds. There is a single bed in the second bedroom, but an additional bed can be placed directly next to the first one, when necessary, to accommodate a second guest in this room. Please indicate if three or four guests are attending as an additional fourth bed will be prepared. The beds are made up with cotton percale linen and the rooms feature cupboards and a safe.
The bathroom is beautifully tiled and is equipped with a bath and a shower. Toilet paper and soap are included as well as towels. Sturdy handrails have been fitted around the shower, bath and toilet for those with special needs.
The fully-equipped kitchen features a fridge, freezer, microwave, stove, kettle and all cooking utensils. A washing machine and ironing facilities are included for guests with laundry needs.
The kitchen leads out to a well-lit dining and lounge area. The dining area has a dining table and four chairs while the lounge has two comfortable couches laid out around a coffee table and TV. Guests can enjoy DStv, a DVD player and Wi-Fi.
For your safety, all windows and doors are fitted with burglar bars and security gates. Guests of Acorns Rest can enjoy a braai in the garden surrounding the cottage, on request. No smoking permitted on the property. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate same day bookings or children under the age of 4 years. We have a friendly family dog who will not come into the cottage.
