Welcome to African Dawn B&B

African Dawn B&B is a tranquil retreat, a place to relax and unwind in the heart of the Karoo. We offer quality, spacious and private accommodation to leisure and corporate travelers. We offer wifi and all rooms have DSTV (selected channels) and en-suite bathrooms. Kitchenette is equipped with bar fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster crockery and cutlery. Breakfast is available at the in house coffee shop from 7H30 to 9H00. African Dawn Coffee Shop and is open Monday to Saturday.

Calvinia is situated in the Northern Cape about halfway between Cape Town and Upington. The town is at the foot of the Hantam Mountains. Hantam being a Khoi word meaning ?where the red bulbs grow.?

What a lovely place, we really felt welcome from the word go - everything is squeaky clean, fresh and nice, food is excellent, and really friendly people....oom Berti and Tannie Dawn! Will go back anytime.

We loved the friendly hospitality. The room quite small but comfortable and very comfy bed. Also loved the included breakfast served in a cheerful coffee shop on the premises
