Africlassic Guest House is situated in the beautiful and scenic Drakensberg Highlands - Harrismith. The famous World Heritage Drakensberg area is just 60 km away.

Our guest house offer twelve fully furnished units with private bath room facilities, M-Net and the normal TV-channels. Four of the twelve units are fully equipped self catering units.

Should you wish, you could do a booking securing the main guest house (Africa I) consisting of three units with bedrooms, and en-suite bathrooms. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the tranquility and peace in our Guest House on the Drakensberg Highlands.

Weekend at Huize Sandwijk by

My Weekend at Huize Sandwijk was a very pleasant one. Our accomadations were perfect and the hosts were very hospitable. I arrived on Friday and left on Sunday morning. The place was clean well thought out and comfy. I would like to say thank you for that weekend. You definately get your monies worth staying at the Huize Sandwijk.

We thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there. The unit was clean and suited our needs. It was tranquil.

It was rather basic, a bit pricey for its state. Our room was very spacious, and the back door lead to a beautiful garden. There must be some sort of general electricity switch for the kitchen, which kept me from boiling water. The base for the shower was broken so we had to hold it by ourselves. Just small details, that once taken care of would make it a very nice option to stay.
