aha Makalali Private Game Reserve is located west of the Kruger National Park to offer guests an ethnic-style retreat within 26 000 hectares of bushveld in the North-eastern Lowveld.

Guests have the option to stay at the River Lodge which comprises of private camps with plunge pools. Each suite at the camps has a timber viewing deck with vies over the Makhutswi River.

Makalali's Main Lodge offers superior rooms with en suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor shower. Meals are served on your private deck or in the dining lounge. Guests can also use this area to relax by the fireplace.

You can look forward to spotting the Big 5 (buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, rhino), as well as the cheetah, wild dog, giraffe, zebra and kudu. Enjoy hot air balloon rides, golfing excursions, visits to the cheetah breeding facility, lazer shooting, and gin tasting.

Package includes:

- Accommodation of your choosing at Makalali Private Game Lodge
- Two game drives daily
- All meals

Package excludes:

- Conservation levy at R240 per person per night
- All other meals and drinks
