Amatava Lodge is situated between Polokwane and Mokopane in the Limpopo province, home to several antelope species.

Amatava Lodge has four six-bedded chalets, a lapa with conference facilities and a big screen. This can be booked as self-catering or catered. The Lodge is ideal for small groups, team-building and leisure time for the family. Company representatives can also break away from boring hotel rooms. It is situated inside the Nyala Breeding Camp with Nyalas roaming freely around. The Lodge also has a swimming pool.

Klipspringer tent camp is a camping site with ablution with warm water, a bush kitchen, splash pool and braai facilities that allows guests to feel the closeness of nature. Game roam freely around the camping site which is accessible with 4x4 only.

We do offer quad bike and 4x4 fun trails, game drives, hiking, team-building and bow hunting. We also do have quad bikess available for rent under supervision. Please note there is no electricity.

Weekend 9-12 August 07, was a very relaxing weekend where we spent well deserved quality time as a family, just to unwind and enjoy nature and the peace and quiet that us city rats often miss out on! Very private, and neat camp and well organized to cater specially for big groups. Although we very much enjoyed the weekend as a family of 3, this venue is very good organised to cater for big groups, in all aspects, from delicious meals up to entertainment. Chris made us feel at home and took us for a game drive around the farm, what a great experience. I highly recommend Amatava for a break away weekend, as a family or work collegues.

This was a weekend I will never forget...and that includes my six year old son. The establishment was safe for both of us...and being a single mom there is not a lot of these establishments left in SA. We arrived on the 13th September 2008 and only stayed over one night. What a stay! We will go back again and again and next time we will bring more friends! I have never been to a holiday resort with so many passionate people looking after you! We felt safe and enjoyed every minute of the day. Thank you Amatava; We will see you soon!
