Ancient Days Guest Cottage is roughly 50 kilometers outside of Johannesburg at the foot of the infamous mountain range of the Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve.
The historic building was originally built in 1903 as a stable for six horses, and the mail carriage was also stored here. During 1987 the current owner bought the property and in 2008 it was renovated, so that the building and its interior could accommodate guests in a quiet and safe environment.
Enclosed in a white picket fence, this cosy cottage has three comfortable bedrooms that can sleep up to ten people. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge, a stove, a microwave oven, crockery and cutlery, as well as ample cooking utensils. Four television sets are installed and DStv is available throughout. A cleaning service is provided on a daily basis during week days.
Heidelberg is close to the N3, and Johannesburg City Bowl is a mere 45 km from it, making it ideal for commuting to and from Johannesburg, while still providing typical small town hospitality.
