Ankergooi is situated in the small seaside village of Stilbaai and offers comfortable accommodation in a lovely House or Apartment. The whole House can be rented or just two or three rooms, depending on your needs. When renting the House as a two-bedroom, guests will have rooms with single beds, and as a three-bedroom, the rooms will consist of a double bed and single beds. Please enquire for an accurate quote.
The House offers four bedrooms furnished with double and single beds. Two rooms have en-suite bathrooms while two rooms share a bathroom. One room also has a private balcony where guests can relax after a long day. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, oven and microwave. There is also has a washing machine and dishwasher. The lounge is furnished with comfortable couches and a TV. DStv is available but guests need to bring their own decoder and smart card. Guests can relax on the patio or make use of the private braai facilities. It is the perfect holiday destination and a great venue for convivial get togethers and reunions, but not for noisy drinking parties
The Apartment offers two bedrooms furnished with a double bed and a bunk bed respectively, and the rooms share a bathroom with a bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, two-plate stove, microwave, kettle and toaster, and guests also have a private braai area.
Stilbaai has a few beaches where guests can relax and soak up the sun or enjoy angling, kitesurfing, sailing and canoeing. The area has a rich marine life in the river estuary, as well as a large variety of bird life. Guests can go hiking, golfing, view the whales from July to October, or visit the Pallingat to view the tame eels being fed for a unique experience.
