Aquaview Beach House

A stone's throw from the beach, Aquaview is a triple-storey self-catering guest house with breathtaking views of Long Beach sleeping eight guests comfortably.

The guest house is situated atop a three-metre high sand dune, just 70 m from white, powder soft sand and the sparkling sea. Guests can wander onto the beach with a glass of wine in hand to enjoy the unique ambience and tranquility of Long Beach, and share the experience with whales, dolphins, seals and even the rare sea otter. Kommetjie is peaceful and serene, with safe swimming and the most beautiful beach. It has a quaint village for all one's needs and offers close proximity to nature and all the outdoor activities one could desire.

The main entrance leads up to the second floor, where you will find the open-plan granite kitchen and lounge with fireplace leading onto a large wooden deck. Adjacent to the main living area is the master bedroom which leads onto the deck overlooking Long Beach and out towards Hout Bay. A complete bathroom with double sinks and a heated shower rail make the second floor a liveable space on its own.

Retire to the bedroom watched by the moon and stars glistening across the ocean, as the sounds of the sea lull you to sleep. Awake to the sound of waves breaking, as the sun rises above the horizon. There is a large open-plan chill-out room with windows all round offering panoramic 360-degree sea and mountain views of the Noordhoek Valley and the Indian Ocean.

The first floor comprises two bedrooms, each with a double bed and sliding doors opening out onto the garden, and a separate shared bathroom with heated shower rails, a shower, toilet and basin. An interleading door adjoins the downstairs rooms with a separate self-contained studio sleeping two, complete with an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. This can easily be utilized as a unit on its own.

The enclosed back garden, with an outside hot water shower, is perfect for after the beach. A separate laundry with washing machine, ironing board, iron and clothes line is also at your disposal.
