The guest house is situated in a beautiful, leafy part of Auckland Park, one of Johannesburg's well-established upmarket suburbs. The house offers inviting, comfortable, individually decorated rooms. It has a warm lounge (where meals can be served) and a dining room with a covered patio overlooking a secure garden and pool where you can enjoy an al fresco meal in summer.

The establishment has easy access to all main arterial routes and is situated close to the Johannesburg CBD and trendy Melville, with easy access to the M1. Outstanding in-house service is provided by our fully trained staff who will cater for your every need.

Clean, all that we expected by

After the initial confusion when we turned up at Auckland Lodge only to discover we were in fact booked into Towers Lodge (another of the 4 lodges owned by the group) we were very happy with service and the room. We booked a room for 4, which is what we got. Complete with extra blankets and electric blankets and a fan. Breakfast was good and prompt.

Enjoyable stay by

Served my purpose well and found all of staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. Next time my wife and I will be together and will like to stay at the same lodge. Thanks, Syd.



The accommodation was booked 3 weeks before arrival yet on that day we were inform we had been placed somewhere else. This was Tower Lodge which is not a patch on the pictures of Auckland lodge.We were not impressed with the room and the management took us to Hampton Court. This establishment was better but again looking at the pic of Auckland Lodge not the same, but we agreed to stay. On the second and third night +/- 9.30 pm we heard something running around above the ceiling in the roof space.
The evening dinner was very nice and the service was excellent.
Overall we were not impressed .
