Awimaweh Resort is located on the Elim Farm situated between Ladybrand and Tweespruit. It is an hour's drive from Ladybrand and just over 30 minutes from Tweespruit.

The resort has two different accommodation options; chalets and rondavels. Guests can choose two-sleeper or five-sleeper chalets. They include fully equipped kitchens, private bathrooms and braai facilities. There are ten rondavels which include bunk beds and kitchens. Guests are welcome to enjoy any one of the two communal swimming pools. The on-site restaurant is a great option for dining and socialising.

There are various activities available on the resort. Birdwatching, hiking and fishing are ideal for the nature fanatics. Families will enjoy the putt-putt course, canoeing and open-air chess.

Daar is baie potensiaal in die oord, maar dit het 'n "major make over" nodig. Akkomodasie lyk onversorg. Kort nuwe linne. Is skoon maar onversorg. Tenspyte daarvan het ons lekker gebly.

The view is beautiful but the photos on the site are very old. Sadly it doesn't look like this anymore. The cottages are in need of maintenance. Self catering implies facilities and utensils. No kettle. No cutlery nor crockery. Pillows need replacing. Shower needs attention.

This place should not be on your booking list, ? Neels? owner, has absolutely no idea of the hospitality industry. Rude and disrespectful, nasty experience. We will never use SafariNow ever again for accommodation
