BALFOUR LOGE BEWERTUNGEN (65 %) Best by Jabu Radebe, South Africa 21 December 2013 I loved my stay there, it was peaceful and I felt secure and could sleep through the night in peace. I enjoyed the hospitality and the dedication of staff members there treating me like a person unlike other lodges I've been to where certain races had more privileges than mine. I'm happy and will be going there with the rest of my family soon. Accomodation and food by Rod Simpson, South Africa 18 January 2014 Accomodation was fine but the food was very poor. Wors and Phutu is not what I call good food or gravy and rice.
There is no choice for breakfast as to how the eggs should be cooked etc you must eat what has been cooked or go without.
On first night no top sheet on the bed. I had to ask for one.
My overall rating minus one star I am fine with the name by Cynthia Sitole, South Africa 14 November 2016 Beautiful place but one of the rooms was leaking, forgotten the room number. Please can we have a proper door not curtains in the bathroom. We prefer locking the door when doing number two and it's so uncomfortable when there are people listening to every movement in the bathroom. More towels should be provided please. Your locks are not user friendly, please look into that! Kenny is a good guy, we felt at home with him! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE by Lizeri Mitchell 01 October 2017 We had a terrible experience. Some guests arrived at 04:30 in the morning playing music very loudly from their car. On full blast! No-one from the lodge addressed this even though we called. There was definitely personnel in the lodge.This went on until after 6. The management only replied on my messages 6 hours later! It is not the guests job to ask other guests to apply basic decency.
At six am a women from the lodge asked a guest who was leaving (due to the unbearable sound) very loudly if they wanted breakfast, because she has to make it then! The lodge could not react to the blaring sounds, but could come yell near our room! This was a awful experience...we came to rest because we wanted to avoid having to drive when we were in need of sleep, the pathetic service just guaranteed that we had to do it in anyway.
