Bay Leaf Cottage is a lovely two-bedroom house located in the trendy suburb of Observatory. Ideal for a family or small group, this private house has two bedrooms, one furnished with a queen-size bed and the other two single beds.
The bathroom is shared and consists of a bathroom with a cast iron Victorian bath and an overhead shower; another hot and cold shower can be enjoyed outdoors in the courtyard.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, a fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table or relax in the cosy lounge which is equipped with a TV with DStv and a DVD player. Wi-Fi internet, heaters and electric blankets in winter and fans in summer are also available.
The private courtyard has a barbecue area and is comfortably furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Secure parking behind a remote-controlled gate is provided for a small or medium sized car.
Bay Leaf Cottage is situated close to the University of Cape Town, Groote Schuur Hospital, the Cape Town Science Centre, St Peter's Square & the Station Road shopping centres and only a few kilometres from Rhode's Memorial, Newlands rugby and cricket stadiums, the South African Astronomical Observatory and the world-famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Various restaurants, pubs, shops, theatres and clubs can be found on the popular Lower Main Road strip and guests have quick and easy access to the many tourist attractions of Cape Town.
