Fish Hoek beach is always bustling with activity, from the traditional trek fishermen who row out in small boats from the shore ? to sea kayakers, hobie cat sailors, lifesavers, beachcombers and holidaymakers.
It's a popular family spot: there's a restaurant located right on the sands and facilities for children. In mid-September enjoy superb whale spotting opportunities ... each year the visiting Southern Right and Humpback Whales are most often found frolicking in the waters just off Fish Hoek boardwalk.
