Berghaan 43B offers comfortable accommodation to three guests, in the town of Gariep Dam. Various activities such as birdwatching, game viewing, freshwater fishing, boat cruises; water sports, dam wall tours, gliding and bowling can be enjoyed, and guests may even be rewarded with the call of a fish eagle.

The house is air-conditioned and the main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is a single in the open-plan living area and linen, towels and electric blankets are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, two-plate stove, cutlery and crockery, and guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV with DStv. The house also has a private indoor braai area.

Overnight Stay by

Only stayed over night on route.  Place was spacious, neat and well equipped.  Owner was very accommodating by helping us check in at 20h30 in the night.

Berghaan by

Berghaan is a really lovely place to stay as a stop over.   The house is spotlessly clean and well appointed.  We have now stayed there 4 times and will be back.  Thank you.
