Welcome to Bijou Place.Bijou Place is a Victorian cottage built in the early 1900's with the typical deep window recesses, shutters and casement windows and wooden floors. A modern extension was added to the cottage later without altering the features of the original cottage. The accommodation offers two double rooms NDORO and MBIRA both with Queen size beds,white cotton linen and electric blankets in winter. The rooms share a large bathroom with bath and shower, toilet and hand basin. Ideal for a family of 4. The cottage has a private sitting room with a tea/coffee and toast making facility. It also has an outside patio table and chairs overlooking a tree-lined park and the village market stones throw away. Bijou Place is stylishly decorated with a private collection of African artifacts and memorabilia portraying the history and features of the vernacular cultures found in Southern Africa.Mid week bookings for one night @ R800.00 for either room ? Monday to Thursday.Horse riding and bicycle riding can be arranged on request and the village is surrounded by magnificent trails and view sites. Several restaurants and pubs are within walking distance and Greyton offers some delightful retail shopping.
