Boscobel Cottages

Boscobel Cottages is located in the beautiful forested mountains and streams of Magoebaskloof. Set in lovely gardens and lawns, each of the three cozy stone and thatch cottages offers privacy and charm. Each of the units has their own colour scheme and special name to stay in touch with the Boscobel Oak history and theme - the Royal Cottage is furnished in red, the Crown Cottage in blue and the Acorn Cottage is a lovely green.Comfortably furnished, all cottages are built over two levels. The upper level consists of a loft room furnished with two single beds, while the main bedroom and the bathroom are located downstairs and opens onto a covered patio with barbecue. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, a two-plate stove, fridge, and microwave. Ample freezer space is also available in the main lodge. Guests can walk around the wonderful garden or relax in the lounge with the cozy fireplace in winter.Magoebaskloof is great for hiking, trail running and mountain biking. Two areas of the Kloof offers wonderful birding opportunities. The area also has wonderful festivals such as the Berry festival, Kiwi festival and Spring festival( to name just a few) with arts and crafts that are worth the visit.
