Brides Veil Chalet

Brides Veil Chalet is a free-standing self-catering chalet, tucked high up in the Southern Drakensberg, at Lotheni. Lie in bed and watch the waterfall endlessly pouring over the rocks and washing away all your stress. This area is the ideal place to be alone with your thoughts, relax your body and mind, and enjoy the company of friends and family, in front of a log fire in the fire place.

The Bride's Veil can accommodate up to eight guests in total. Downstairs, there is a bedroom with a queen bed and its own shower and toilet. Upstairs, is an L-shaped area with a queen size bed in the ?foot' of the ?L', and four single beds in the ?body' of the ?L'. There is also a separate bathroom downstairs.

The Bride's Veil is fully equipped and everything is supplied. There is no electricity, TV or cell phone signal; all appliances are operated by gas...a stove with oven, a fridge with small freezer compartment, hot water, gas, solar and candle lights. There is a braai drum and free wood but no charcoal. All you will need to bring is sufficient food, clothes and drinks, as the shops are a long way away.

Pets are welcome, as long as they are given ?Capstar' flea tablets prior to arrival. If you would like bring your own horses, you can enjoy an outride in the surrounding area.

Enjoy beautiful walks in the surrounding area or go mountain biking and enjoy the breathtaking scenery; the river is well worth a visit. Jackal, mongoose, porcupine, a variety of buck, serval and even bush pigs have been spotted in the area. You can also take a blanket outside at night and star-gaze to your heart's content. So relax and have a wonderful time away in this secluded peaceful spot.
