Bright Island Uganda is a mid-range, exclusive island resort in Lake Bunyonyi. Bright Island has two cottages, a fixed tents, and a restaurant and bar. The island is ideal for travellers moving between the Rwanda and Uganda Gorilla parks.

The accommodation is provided in two cottages, with comfortable beds, solar electricity and hot running water. Each has its own bathroom and beautiful views of the lake. There are also three tents ideal for travellers looking for a more rustic experience, and is close to the main restaurant.

The restaurant and bar is the main gathering point for visitors and staff. It has a TV which is available from 7pm to midnight. A log fire in the lounge area is the focal point of the room. The bar serves a selection of beer, sodas and spirits. Relax on the balcony with a sundowner and enjoy the 360 degree views looking over Lake Bunyonyi.
