Nestled between Umhlanga and Durban North in the lush green suburb of La Lucia, Bumblebees has everything to offer both the business traveller and tourist. We are situated close to Blue Flag beaches, major tourist attractions, the new business hub of Durban and some fine restaurants.

Owner-run, guests are assured of a friendly welcome and a comfortable stay. Rooms are en-suite, air-conditioned and serviced daily, except Sundays. A hearty full English breakfast is served around the pool, and a TV with full DStv service is available in the TV lounge. There is also a comfy sitting room where you can relax at the end of the day.

The entire establishment is available for hire as self-catering and is within walking distance of La Lucia Mall and close to Gateway Theatre of Shopping. It is also the ideal launch pad to Hluhluwe or uMfolozi Game Parks, the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands, Battlefields, and Drakensberg World Heritage Site to name a few.

Local attractions include dolphin-viewing, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, uShaka Marine World, ABSA Stadium, Sahara Kingsmead Cricket Ground, Sharks Board and numerous champion golf courses. Philip and Alison look forward to welcoming you to their B&B.
