Bushman's Rock is situated just 10 km outside of Pretoria in the Gauteng Province of South Africa. The Cullinan Diamond Mine, where the world's biggest diamond was discovered, is situated close to Bushman's Lodge.

We had a great time during our stay, and we wish to visit the place again.

Bushman's Rock Country Lodge by

We had an enjoyable visit pity that we did stay only one night! We enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Security was also good.



We stayed in the Family Unit which can sleep 4 but there were only 2 chairs outside, 2 coffee cups, 2 plates, etc. Otherwise, perfect and very clean! Love the swimming pool and the Sunday buffet breakfast on Sunday were great. The Dam unfortunately does smell a lot and can be disturbing.

Thank you for your positive feedback, providing us with a review of your stay at Bushman's Rock Country Lodge and bringing some shortcomings under our attention. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few details mentioned by you.

We would like to apologise for the fact that there were only two chairs outside instead of four, although there were four additional chairs inside the family unit that you stayed in.
This is something the lodge will definitely look into as soon as possible to correct.

In regards with the smell of the dam; we would like to bring it under your attention, as well as our future guests attention, that the bad smell you experienced is definitely not from our dams. This is an agricultural area and unfortunately we do have livestock farmers in the area.

We are glad to know that you enjoyed the Sunday breakfast buffet provided by The Crazy Bushman Restaurant and that you found the room as well as the rest of the lodge very clean with an added relaxed atmosphere.

Service with a smile is everything by

Arriving late on Friday night I had the pleasure of dealing with the security staff who were friendly and helpful - definitely a good introduction to the venue. As we were going to be late I called the restaurant and ordered our dinner - then had to call again and change the time, just before nine they called me to say that they had been to reception and found my room number - my dinner was waiting for me n the room. What incredible service - THANK YOU.

Good rooms and service by

Room was very clean and close to the pool, friendly service from the security guards and lodge staff and good food at the restaurant.
