CABANAS NO 8 BEWERTUNGEN (63 %) Unsatisfied by Kristie Collis, South Africa 15 January 2016 The location was perfect, however the unit itself and our stay had issues.
The geyser did not work at all.
The aircon in the main bedroom did not work at all.
The maid informed us she would be coming in to clean and never arrived.
We would have appreciated being notified of the water restrictions and feel a courtesy 5lt water could have been provided on arrival.
We had water between 10pm and 5am for two nights and then nothing from then onwards - shocking.
I am aware that this is a municipal issue, however inform your guests and supply something on their arrival so they can wash their hands at least.
Not Impressed by Ryan Swinton, South Africa 20 June 2016 No Hot water at Shower. Aircon in main bedroom does not work. Also no water during the day. I understand they have water restrictions but it would have been nice if someone had communicated this with us so that we could prepare ourselves. Owner told me it would be fine too book in at 09:00 as the flat was ready as the guests had left the day before. Upon arrival we were told to wait till lunch time before we could get the keys. Very unprofessional. Deffinately won't be returning to this unit. The flatlet was clean and the views were lovely by Viaan Jardine 16 November 2017 The pool was empty and there were loud construction noises we had to deal with. This was not told to us before hand. The toilet was leaking and the floor in the bathroom was constantly wet, we spent alot of time cleaning that up so that we have no accidents. We called for them to fix it, but no one pitched. When we left and told Umdloti letting, they told us "at least you had another toilet". Good stay but some issues by Russel Mills 24 November 2017 Good location near airport and great sea views.
Did not know the flat was on three floors and may have been an issue with older people (the venue was booked for a honeymoon couple).
Biggest issue was the pool was under construction and no prior notification until 2 days before stay. The comment was that it was being refurbished for the holidays - well this was a honeymoon holiday and it needed to be near perfect. All photos have an empty pool in background. A bit of false advertising. The view Is amazing by Leeann Singh 15 May 2018 Cabanas no 8 ... The perfect place to relax and enjoy with family and friends the staff was super friendly and helpful the place is amazingly clean and beauitful . The places has a double thumps up from me I totally enjoyed my stay there and from someone who travels a lot this is by far one of my favourite places .
