Welcome to Cape Town Heritage Homestay
A family of 4, husband 54 years old, daughter of 21 years studying at UCT and a 19-year-old geriatric cat. Very quiet area, close to the city (1.4km) and to the Myciti bus route (the station is 150m away). Uber and taxicab make the city and Cape Peninsula easily accessible.Our suburb of District 6, Zonnebloem is also well known for hosting immersion homestay students that study English at colleges in Cape Town.Our home has been providing an immersion homestay family to English students since 2015.
Our Bo Kaap Malay cuisine adds to the cultural tastes and flavours at our home. Homemade Feijoada, Kabsa, Belgium waffles, Italian Pizza are enjoyed while having a good conversion.
Our home has 5 rooms available for homestay: Single room with en-suite Single room with private bathroom Twin room with en-suite Twin room sharing a bathroom downstairs Twin room sharing a bathroom upstairs. We have 3 pause areas: a front garden, a lounge and rear lapa area. From the rear lapa pause area, we have a view of Table Mountain.We enjoy conversations and sharing our knowledge of our city.
