Situated in the idyllic town of Clarens, approximately 3 ½ hours' drive from Johannesburg, Durban and Bloemfontein, Clarens Retreat offers stylish and comfortable self-catering accommodation whilst being nestled in-between the beautiful Rooiberge.

The Retreat consists of three self-catering units; Couples Retreat 1 and 2 which are best suited for couples and the Family Retreat 3, which offers a spacious three-bedroom unit which can accommodate up to six guests. Being 240 m away from the town square, the activity hub of Clarens, everything is within comfortable walking distance.

Everything that we expected. Friendly service. Well situated.

We had a nice stay at the Clarens Retreat. It is ideally situated close to the city center with all its shops and restaurants (easy walking distance). The rooms were cleaned daily and any issues attended to promptly.

We love the beautiful apartment with everything clean,neat and the lovely warm bed and floor carpet every time you get out of the bed no need for cold feet. We could relax and watch TV in our bed and had the most beautiful view looking out the front door.

What a treat, the house was just big enough for our party of 4. The house was very neat and clean and just enough for out week break-away. Thanks Gerrit and Francois were very accommodating and made sure that we were doing well. Thanks for the very good experience!

We had a very pleasant stay. We were told by SMS where to get the key and on arrival everything was spotlessly clean and the room was comfortable for our one night stay. Location is very good. we could take a easy walk to a restaurant for dinner.
