COURTYARD EASTGATE BEWERTUNGEN (40 %) Ilse Jacobs, South Africa 15 September 2014 Sorry, this was one of the worst stays ever. The staff was very helpful and professional but that is where the pleasantness ended.
There was no lake, just a muddy mess that smelled awful due to rehabilitation. Not the fault of the lodge, but had I known that I would not have booked there. You can still ignore the view, but not the smell.
Also, the quality of the rooms does not match the beautiful upgrade that obviously has been done to the reception area. The mattress was worn out, the furniture needs an upgrade and there was a problem with the Safari payment when we tried to book out.
