Cradock House consists of five rooms within the main house, as well as two self-catering cottages in the garden. The establishment features barbecue facilities, a swimming pool and internet availability.The Cradock House is a beautifully restored, turn of the century Karoo Homestead, steeped in local history and set on large tranquil grounds. This establishment is in the heart of Cradock, close to all amenities and sport facilities. Relax in the warm and friendly atmosphere of a typical Karoo homestead. A private lounge is available to guests. We cater for international, local and corporate travellers. Office facilities are available to guests on request.

We only slept one night without breakfast. Facilities were good and I can recommend the facilities and hospitality to anyone who would like to make use of it.

the house in Cradock with charm by

A second stay says it was good to be back. Zelda and Cristel gave us a friendly welcome. We used the same room- refurbished during the year- and enjoyed the night spent in thge quaint town. Breakfast was hearty. I would have like a look into the history of the house with a good number of historical pieces. A good stay to be repeated. 



Comfortable and reasonably clean ( although the floors in the bathroom and bedroom could have been swept more thoroughly)
Disappointed in the breakfast though - we were there for the Fish canoe marathon and as such had to leave before 7:30 each day . The hostess informed us that she only provided breakfast (which we had paid for) after 7:30 each morning. We had to help ourselves to toast before we left .We have stayed elsewhere in Cradock and the hostess was up before 6 to serve a proper breakfast.
