Nice place but people at the parking area make noise.

What a great experience by

We booked at DE Bakke as a very late stage (barely hours before our arrival from Cape Town) and were pleasantly surprised how they kept contact with us as far as our progress was concerned. Although our Sea view site had a spectacular view we were forced to move to another due to the abundance of devils thorns (duiweltjie doings) that would have played havoc with our inflatable mattresses. This was the only real downside of our stay and trust that something will be done about the thorns. The ablution blocks were some of the neatest / cleanest we have encountered anywhere but be warned you need to supply your own toilet paper. Very good 24hr security gives you the peace of mind that you as well as your possessions are safe. This is definitely a place we will be returning to in future.
