Travellers to the De Kelders Private House are well looked after. The guest rooms have high ceilings, ample light and ventilation; they offer complete privacy. The large and spacious garden is a 16-year creation of Overberg flora which was planted with privacy being the keyword. The salt-water pool is a welcome escape from the summer heat. The open terrace is secluded and offers the perfect hideaway for reading and drinks.

The ocean is 200 steps away, where guests can meander on trails and watch the spectacular sunsets over Walker Bay. Guests might see whales in season. We offer simple meals prepared by the hosts, served with local boutique estate wines. We make our beds with Egyptian white percale cotton linen and guests can sleep with the sounds of the whales. Then awaken refreshed to the smell of a country breakfast and brewed coffee.
