De Oude Rus is situated in Brackenfell. We offer secure, self-catering units that is conveniently situated within walking distance from a supermarket, a laundromat and a restaurant. Our units and rooms have private entrances with secure parking.

There are two units; The main rooms are equipped with double beds and the second bedrooms have two single beds. Each unit has an open-plan kitchen and lounge area with an extra double sleeper couch and colour TV. There are braai facilities outside for all guests to enjoy.

Friendly, hospitality at its best by

A special thanks to Judy for a most wonderful stay. Very cosy and neat. I will recommend these units to everyone. Such hospitality and friendly atmosphere. Thanks again Judy. I will be sure to pay you a visit the next time we are in Cape Town.

Neat, clean and comfortable by

I am writing the review little late. It was long due but I was caught up in work. I visited Capetown in May 2012. Judy and Jim were the prefect hosts and they took care of everything one would need for a good stay. The place was superb, serene and more importantly very very clean. It is close to lot of places I wanted to visit. I do not think De Oude Rus had any flaw that I can point out. My stay was simply superb. I would surely select them when I am in SA the next time.

Very cosy and neat unit. Enjoyed the outdoor braai area and the friendliness. Will recommend to others and will definitely make use of this accommodation again.
