In the middle of the picturesque Cape Winelands, Andrew Rahn welcomes guests to De Wingerd, bordering the vineyards on the slopes of Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve - the second largest granite outcrop in the world.

Large fully equipped, air-conditioned rooms are designed for personal comfort and open onto a private terrace or garden with stunning valley views. De Wingerd Wijnland Lodge offers two twin or double en-suite rooms and two queen en-suite room.

All rooms have feature air-conditioning, TV DStv, bar fridge, hairdryer, coffee or tea-making facilities, digital safe, and toiletries, and laundry services can be arranged.

Guests are also welcome at the private guest lounge with cosy fireplace and at the relaxing garden and pool.

De Wingerd is a great place, excellent value for money and we will be back.

Excellent location by

The location and room were both excellent. The pool was a welcome relief from the hot African sun. Only downside was being woken at 4am when five other guests left for their flight!

Had a wonderful stay.

Breakfast is outstanding and staff were very nice and helpful.

Beautiful setting and décor and rooms are spacious and very clean.

Great stay at De Wingerd Wijnland Lodge by

We spent a night at De Wingerd Wijnland Lodge last week and enjoyed it very much. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were in Agapanthus room, which is quiet, spacious and has a lovely view. Breakfast was good without being over the top. I can definitely recommend this guesthouse to anybody who wants to visit Paarl. It is also within walking distance from good restaurants on Main Road, which is great. Thank you!
