Die Stoep is a self-catering house in Calitzdorp on Route 62. Its main feature is a large wrap around stoep ( veranda ) the perfect place to sit and take in the magic that makes up the Karoo. Guests book the entire house which they have to themselves - no sharing.

The house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 8 adults and 2 children. Ostrich room is the large main bedroom and has a kingsize bed and bunk bed in a separate section.Meerkat room has a double bed and en-suite with bath, shower, and separate toilet.It opens up onto the stoep with views of the mountains in the distance.Springbok room has a double bed and bathroom ( with shower, basin, and toilet ) that leads off the bar area. There is a sleeper couch in the dining room - sleeps 2.

All bedrooms are fitted with percale linen, bath towels, electric blankets, and aircons. ( There is a third separate bathroom with vintage bath ( shower over bath ), basin and toilet. The lounge opens out onto the stoep and has a fireplace, TV with DSTV ( Family package) and DVD machine.
The large dinning room seats 10.The courtyard, a great place for entertaining, has a seating area with firepit, and undercover braai with table and chairs. The kitchen leads off to the one side and the bar to the other.The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, steamer, coffee machine, and washing machine,dish washer.Crockery, cutlery and glassware.
