Eagles Nest is situated in the peaceful and leafy suburb of Everton about 35 km from Durban beachfront and very near to Hillcrest and Kloof.

The guest lodge consists of four bedrooms; two doubles en-suite, a twin room, a double room, a lounge, a kitchenette, a large veranda, and a fenced yard which allows for guests to bring their own dogs. The guest house also offers guests braai facilities, satellite television, a swimming pool, and parking on the premises.

Guests can explore numerous great attractions in and around the area, such as the Kloof Country Club, the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve, and the 1000 Hills Choo Choo.

We were advised by the owner that "The breakfast is included and is normally muffins, bread, yogurt, cheese, jams, milk, cereal etc" but all that was left in the "kitchen" was a loaf of white bread, a packet of biscuits, jam and milk. You have to get water from the bathroom to fill the kettle and rinse your food. That is also where you do your dishes as there is no sink and no servicing offered, despite being charged a R220 cleaning fee. We ALWAYS do our own dishes but left the last lot when we vacated (early) as our backs couldn't take washing them in the bathroom again. Had to borrow a pan and sharp knife as no cooking utensils supplied. Showers are lovely and big but no door so the whole floor gets wet. Bed was comfortable.

The place didnt have an actual basin in the kitchen area but if it had outside, doing the dishes would have been a bit easier.

Wonderful Hospitality by

Carl is an absolutely warm and welcoming host. I will continue returning to Eagles Nest on my trips to the coast. A real homely feeling to the large house with sufficient breakfast provided in the kitchenette. The patio and yard is also brilliantly kept and also let's my two little dogs feel comfortable. Great home away from home for holiday makers.
