The Empangeni Country Club Conference Centre is located in Empangeni in KwaZulu-Natal. The centre offers a superior venue with a multitude of excellent facilities and services.

The bed and breakfast accommodation consists of five comfortably furnished bedrooms; an a la carte dinner is available. The rooms are equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities, DStv, air-conditioning and all linen and towels are provided.

The conference centre can cater for 50 to 100 people and optional extras can be arranged for team building purposes. We also offer a spectacular wedding venue.

Situated in beautiful surroundings, the centre has magnificent views. Our facilities and staff will ensure an unforgettable experience, whether it is your wedding, a strategic planning session or a team building exercise.

We drove all the way from Pretoria. Wasn't happy with the accommodation. There were no security or garage. The air-con wasn't working. Due to that we had to search for another place to stay. The image on the website show only the club house.

ECC Conference Centre - Terrible!!! by

My experience at the ECC Conference Centre was an unpleasant one. The passage way leading to the doorway of the communal foyer was not lit, and smelt of urine. I can only think that the squash players or the caddies had decided to relieve themselves in the dark corner. The rooms were small and lacked a basic commitment to aesthetics. The paint on the walls was cracked and bubbling in some places. Where wall plugs had been removed, the holes had been filled with polyfilla, but had not been sanded and painted over. The blanket on the bed was soiled. There was a glass window above the door to my room. Consequently there was no sense of privacy. Bedside lamps had been provided but were not connected to a power source. The silver backing on the mirror had been scratched and corroded. The air conditioner required a service. The TV remote continued to change channels and could not be stopped. The reception for the television was very poor. The kitchen was meant to be open for breakfast at 7AM. The first person arrived at 7:15. Food was only served at 7:35. Consequently, I was late for my business commitment. All-in-all, ECC was my worst experience from an accommodation perspective. I would strongly advise that SafariNow disassociate itself from this venue, as my experience at ECC affects my perception of your company's judgement concerning suitable venues. Very dissatisfied.
