Unpleasant service by

I was not happy with my stay at the southgate inn. Upon calling the place to confirm booking the phone was cut off while waiting to get assistance reason being the person who answered is shy on the phone so she had to get someone else to assist. The place is unwelcoming. We actually didn't even know where the reception is When we got to the place it was not ready and we were short of linen. our room heat/aircon was not working. The pool outside was just an open space where dirt was thrown in.We spent more of our time away from the lodge than there. looking at the pictures of the other lodges i must say we were quite disappointed with the southgate inn. Pictures could be quite false.

When we arrived they were attending to other clients whom got prove they booked but did not appear on their system. Then with us, we were on the system but the gave our room away to other people even though payment was confirmed prior our arrival. We had to wait till 6pm before we could get a room. They promised free breakfast as their way of apologising bit even that was a no show. Staff don't seem to know what they r doing. Place is dirty. I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.
