Elandsvlei Estate Farmhouse

The Elandsvlei Estate Farmhouse is the perfect bush getaway for larger groups looking for privacy, peace, and tranquillity. The farmhouse has five bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and sleeps up to 12 people. It has two braai areas; one open-air and one covered, as well as a beautiful splash pool overlooking a peaceful dam frequented by many wildlife species. Elandsvlei Estate is located in the malaria-free Unesco Waterberg Biosphere, only a two-hour drive from Pretoria and two and a half hours from OR Tambo Airport.

The Farmhouse is located on a 1250 hectare private game farm between Mookgphong (Naboomspruit) and Vaalwater with giraffes, buffalo, eland, kudu, gemsbok, zebra, wildebeest, and many other species.

Guests will have access to the entire Farmhouse, braai areas, and pool. Firewood is provided for guests. This beautiful mountain location has many roads and trails that are ideal for hiking, running and mountain biking. The house stands alone, so you will have complete privacy and not be bothered by any other guests during your stay.

Elandsvlei Estate's dams are great for fishing, and guests are welcome to try their luck fishing for various species including tilapia, bream, and catfish. Hunting is also available on the property, please send a private message for a full list of available species and pricing.

Self-drives are allowed for those with a four-wheel-drive vehicle, ATV, or Dirt Bike. We ask that guests wanting to do this, first go for a guided game drive with us so we can familiarize them with the layout of the property.

Game drives can be arranged at an additional fee of R250 per person, and include two hours of game viewing as well as sundowner drinks and snacks in a beautiful location.
