The Elephant Motel is ideally situated along the Moshi - Dar es Salaam Road, just outside of Same town. It has beautiful views of the South Pare Mountains and is close to the Mkomazi Game Reserve and the Shengena Forest.

There are 20 en-suite guest rooms available with double- or single beds. All the rooms are equipped with telephones and TVs with selected channels. Guests can enjoy delicious meals in the restaurant, or have a drink with snacks at the bar.

The motel can arrange safaris to view or climb Mount Kilimanjaro, exploring the Ngorongoro Crater and experiencing the open plains of the Serengeti.

Sunday is customarily an important market day in Same, selling a variety of fruits and vegetables from the Pare Mountains. There are also various stalls with colourful Kangas and Kitenge, traditional women's clothing.
