The concept behind Kilindi's original design was that of Scandinavian minimalism mixed with the dramatic architectural overtones so evident in Middle Eastern heritage. White wooden-slatted shutters embrace wide-arched glassless windows that afford spectacular views over the Indian Ocean. This open-to-nature approach to Kilindi's design provides the true essence of any stay.

A falling water bar overlooks a large 25 m infinity pool which itself affords views out across the sparkling warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Dining takes place either on the alfresco terrace or even along the pristine white beach, which runs the length of the property.

Accommodation is offered in 15 eastern-style domed Pavilions nestling among a 50-acre tropical garden, and are the perfect and intimate retreats for each and every guest. The Pavilions each have their very own private plunge pool, and possess extraordinary wet rooms with radiance showers that truly give the feeling of being at one with nature. With each Pavilion set in its own private tropical garden and served by a dedicated butler, privacy is guaranteed.
