Elfen Cottage is an elegant newly renovated cottage ideally situated the centre of town in Prince Albert, but in a quiet area off the main road. The cottage is within easy walking distance of various shops, restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, and the museum.

The elegant cottage is ideal for a couple; the air-conditioned bedroom contains a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. Quality linen, towels and a hairdryer are provided.

The cottage has reed ceilings and is equipped with fans throughout. The comfortable living area features a flat screen TV with selected DStv channels. In addition, there is a book-case with a wide selection of books about Prince Albert. The kitchenette is well equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge, microwave oven, and a double hotplate.

The north-facing patio overlooks the town, and the lovely garden offers privacy and a sheltered braai area. Secure, off-street, under-cover parking is provided.

Dit was baie aanganaam en lekker gewees. Sal weer gebruik maak van Elfen Cottage as in omgewing is.

Affordable comfort by

Great self-catering spot (for not more than two people) with plenty of excellent books and other reading matter on the town. Previously the rooms of the famous - at least in Afrikaans circles - Dr Jan van Elfen. "Unfortunately" Prince Albert has great restaurants too, so perhaps the "self-catering" should be limited to breakfast or braai.

Elize was a superb host. Fresh milk in the fridge. Loads of ice in the freezer. Every amenity at your finger tips.

Convenient stay by

Really appreciated the milk,water and rusks. A lovely cottage but the owners should really remove some of the building rubble etc from the back before clients arrive. It doesnt give a very good impression. Cottage was lovely ,well situated and prettily decorated with everything in it that one would need.Mosquitoes were in full force.I dont think the mozzie machine was working.

Stay was very nice. Clean and cozy. Close to town for a walk to all facilities and restuarants.
