Excelsior River Cottage is situated on the banks of the Orange River with a spectacular view of the river. The cottage is located approximately 7 km outside of Prieska on the Douglas Road, and is ideal for a weekend away, swimming, fishing trips, or a romantic stay at the riverside.

The self-catering cottage comprises two bedrooms each with its own bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and lounge area. The first bedroom contains a double bed, and the second bedroom contains twin single beds. Each room is air-conditioned and has electric blankets for cold winter nights.

The modern, spacious kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and includes a breakfast bar with stools. The comfortable lounge area includes DStv. Braai facilities and wood are available on request, as well as pre-packed braai packs. Breakfast can be supplied on request.

Die eienaars is uiters gasvry. Die akkommodasie is van uitstaande gehalte en alle benodigdhede (hetsy vir 'n wegbreek vakansie of oornag tydens 'n sakereis) is beskikbaar. Ons het heerlik gerus tydens ons verblyf en dit was wonderlik om met die geluide van die natuur wakker te word. Op 'n skaal van 1 - 10 verdien Rivierhuis 15. Baie dankie - ons het heerlik gekuier. The owners are very hospitable. The accommodation is of superior quality and all equipment (whether for a vacation getaway or overnight during a business trip) is available . We had a wonderful visit during our stay and it was great with the sounds of nature waking up. On a scale of 1-10 earned River House 15. Thank you - we had a wonderful time . Elize
