Leisure activities on the property include an enticing pool, a scenic wildlife walk or a nature drive. Unspoilt nature trails bring unrestricted encounters with the small pleasures that are Africa; the sun's warm embrace, the rich smell of soil, sweeping grasslands, intriguing insects, and the sounds of birds and antelope while zebra and giraffe graze nearby. The property does not host dangerous wildlife such as lion, buffalo or rhino, but is home to the scarce suni and red duiker, while birding highlights include the pink throated twinspot and the beautiful nariina trogen. Big 5 safaris also depart from the lodge into the Hluhluwe Umfolozi game reserve daily.
