The Fairways offers self-catering accommodation in luxury thatch cottages, situated in the Drakensberg Gardens Golf and Spa resort, bordering on a World Heritage Site. It has the only 18-hole golf course in the Southern Drakensberg.

The cottages have fully-equipped kitchens, including microwaves, washing machines and tumble dryers, DStv access, individual braai and telephone facilities. The cottages are serviced daily. Recreational facilities include golfing, fishing, bowls, tennis, adventure golf, hiking trails, horse riding, archery, zip line, mountain biking and much more. Children are catered for with a mini animal farm, pony rides, trampolines and a playground. They can also join in the fun of the daily entertainment programme or enjoy indoor arcade games, snooker, table tennis or videos.

There are four restaurants on site, which offer dining experiences such as a la carte, buffet/carvery, clubhouse and a bistro for the lighter meals. There are a number of pubs, which include a sports bar for snooker, darts, and a big screen TV. There is a mini superette on site as well as a convenience store situated 3 km from the resort's entrance.
