First Avenue Guesthouse is a well established 4-Star guest house situated in a quiet cul-de-sac opposite Hobie Beach in the popular beachfront suburb of Summerstrand in Port Elizabeth. The original character-filled homestead dates back to the early 1900s, with gleaming Oregon pine floors and high ceilings.

Each well-appointed room opens onto the garden and pool area and features its own entrance, kitchenette, DStv channels, telephone, and wireless Internet connection. A self-catering beachfront apartment is also available for short or long term rental. In addition, the guest house offers conference facilities fully equipped with TV and projector.

First Avenue Guesthouse is located just a stroll away from the Boardwalk Entertainment complex and other beachfront amenities, and is a short distance to the city centre, airport, the university, sports grounds, and the famous Humewood Links Golf Course.

Good and very friendly service, nice and clean rooms, good breakfast, lovely pool! Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, park, etc. We had a great time!
