Frans Indongo Loge

Frans Indongo Lodge is situated just 43 km from Otjiwarongo, on the road to Otavi. Our lodge is not only the ideal stopover for the traveller en route from Windhoek to the Etosha National Park, the Caprivi or to Botswana, but it also offers various remarkable day trips in the nearby surrounding areas.

Come and enjoy the Owambo-style decoration, the beautiful garden and our excellent cuisine, or have a sundowner at our wooden terrace overlooking the peaceful and majestic landscape of the thorn bush savannah. Relax by observing the rare grazing White blesbok and Black springbok, together with zebra, Black wildebeest, impala and many other game species in their natural habitat. For an even better view, we offer an elevated observing deck.

We have 12 luxury rooms with en-suite bathrooms, TVs, air-conditioners, minibars, telephones, hairdryers and tea and coffee-making facilities. We have two Single Rooms, eight spacious Bungalows and four Family Units. Set menus are served at the thatched open lapa which is the perfect place to end an eventful day in Namibia.

Game drives on the 23,000-hectare farm, which is home to a large number of rare animal species, and several hiking trails are well-marked and lovingly laid out for everyone. Enjoy an excursion with cheetah watching at the Cheetah Conservation Fund. Alternatively, visit the crocodile farm in Otjiwarongo or take a day trip to explore the wild beauty of Waterberg Plateau Park.
