Froggs Leap is a comfortable guest house located on the mountainside in Hout Bay. It offers bed and breakfast accommodation in five spacious guest rooms. This laid-back house has wonderful views from the colonial-style veranda.

The spacious rooms feature pure cotton percale sheets, fluffy pillows and soothing colours. After a hard day in meetings, at the beach or visiting the tourist sites, guests can relax on the veranda and enjoy the expansive views. We serve the breakfast buffet at the 12-seater dining table, outside in the garden or on the veranda. There is an elevated swimming pool and the beach and village are within walking distance.

Hout Bay is a popular tourist destination and the fishing harbour is the perfect place to enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants.

Tasteful tranquil retreat by

Froggs Leap is ideally situated. It's perched above Hout Bay, so has splendid views of the bay & mountains, yet is only 10 minutes stroll down to the restaurants, bars & shops. It's apparent that Joke, the owner, is an interior designer as soon as you step inside. The furnishings are stylish yet comfortable. Joke & Stuart are very welcoming and provide an excellent generous breakfast. Its not surprising that when we stayed the other guests had all visited before. We'd happily return if in Hout Bay again.

I spent another overnight stay at the delightful Frogg's Leap. It really is a fabulous gem in Hout Bay. Beautiful, cool room with lovely views. And a scrumptious breakfast served on the verandah.
