Glengarth Cottages offers comfortable accommodation in two stylish self-catering cottages, ideally located in Winterskloof, Hilton, which is a mere 15-minute drive from Pietermaritzburg and Midmar Dam.

Glengarth is situated within the Winterskloof conservancy and is ideal for bird-watching and sports enthusiasts, with a large network of mountain bike trails on its doorstep. The location is also ideal for accessing the Midlands Meander and day trips to the Drakensberg or Tala Private Game Reserve.

The two cottages are situated in a forested area, 2.5 km from central Hilton. Set in a large peaceful garden with indigenous trees and abundant bird life, each cottage has French doors opening onto its own private garden area with braai facilities.

Very nice place and friendly host!

Great stay by

Set in the hills of Hilton is this gem of a cottage. Sharon lovely welcome. Comfortable clean and cosy.

Nice and green in the winter rain by

Very nice cottage, kept warm enough thanks to the candles and generator power during load shedding. Comfortable place for two to four along a nice green quiet and winding road, just out of the bustle. Enjoyed the hospitality and wish the hosts some snow this winter, we had a lovely time despite all the rain! 

Secluded Hilton Country Cottage by

The cottage is beautifully situated in  secluded, leafy Hilton. The cottage is well equipped, clean, modern and comfortable. As an older couple we appreciated the comfortable bed and separate Shower in the well appointed Bathroom. 

Peaceful & stress-free by

Beautiful setting, peaceful & very friendly hostess. Perfect for a chilled weekend away.

Glengarth Cottages - Narina by

My kids loved it. Lots of space for them to explore and play and they loved the dogs and cat! Location was great only 10 min drive into Pietermaritzburg. The cottage was really comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.
